Pure Pit Wall correctly predicts the top three in Monaco for the 6th time in 2017

What a thrilling Monaco Grand Prix! For the 6th time this year, the Pure Pit Wall correctly predicted the top three podium finishers (VET, RAI, RIC).

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport driver Valtteri Bottas started the race in third position and finished in fourth after an intense battle with the Red Bulls.

Lewis Hamilton battled from 13th to finish 7th, a phenomenal achievement on the tight roads of Monte Carlo.

Tyre strategy was a one stopper with both drivers starting on the UltraSoft and switching to the SuperSoft tyre, Valtteri on Lap 33, Lewis on Lap 46.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport put in some speedy pit stops putting Lewis Hamilton top of the Fastest Pit Lane Times clocking a 24.1s with Valtteri just +0.2s behind in 4th overall.

In the final laps of the race Sergio Perez set the fastest lap of the race with a 1:14.820, over three seconds faster than last year’s fastest lap.

Pure Pit Wall clocked a total of nine overtakes including one for the lead, all without DRS.

Following the Monaco Grand Prix, Lewis (104) is now 25 points behind Championship leader Sebastien Vettel and Valtteri (75) remains in third overall with Kimi Raikkonen eight points behind.

In the Constructors’ Championship, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport (176) are now 17 points behind Ferrari, but there is still a long season to go!
